It’s quite interesting when familiar characters return to a familiar setting but with a new story set to unfold. That’s kind of what happens in this book, though there is, I feel, a familiarity to some parts of this novel in that story too.

Book Review: An Awfully BIG Adventure, by Aniesha Brahma

Sometimes, it’s nice to go read a children’s story. The worlds there are simple, intriguing, filled with mystery and yes, holding an adventure or two too. It’s just what is needed to break the monotony of reality. I’ve read Aniesha’s books before, and know her style. That, along with the cover art, pushed me to read this book.

Book Review: All Signs Lead Back to You, by Aniesha Brahma

Is this a romance novel? “All Signs Lead Back to You”, the title, certainly makes one think that it is. Having read all but one of the author’s previous works, I couldn’t be sure that that was the case. That’s a good thing, of course. There are so many novels that release in India that are part of the romance genre. What would make this novel stand out of that crowd and ask the reader (me) to take notice?

Book Review: When Our Worlds Collide, by Aniesha Brahma

“When Our Worlds Collide”… the title, plus the cover design would usually lead me to think that this is one of those romance novels that go the expected route. But the book, without a doubt, surprised me. “We will assure you by the end of this very different tale that it’s not always about the happy ending.” That was what the preface said, but the happily ever after does happen for the characters, just not in the way I expected after reading the title or looking at the cover.
