There’re books that mean a lot to me, and the Harry Potter series is definitely there in that category. Each book in the series happens over one school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and this book, the second one, focuses on the second year.
There are books I’ve read, and reread often. Some are challenging to review because the emotions that I felt then are difficult to express. Others are challenging because they mean so much to me, that I don’t know if what I express will be enough to convey what that book means to me.
The first of three Pottermore Presents books that were released last year, this book shares tales of heroism at Hogwarts, one of my favorite places to visit through my imagination! I don’t need a reason to read (er… reread) the Harry Potter series, and these three books add to that nicely.
It’s a pleasure when I can escape into a fictional world and take a break from reality. Hogwarts and the magical world that the Harry Potter series creates is just one of the worlds I frequent. And yet, there are secrets that the world has still to reveal.
It’s always a delight to go back to a beloved series. My favorite fantasy series of all time, perhaps, is the magical world of Harry Potter. Quite recently, I chanced upon three books written by the author on Pottermore, and without further ado, bought it. This book, the third in that series, brings a little more knowledge about that world.
